Funny thing: I can trace my whole graphic design career back to making posters for gigs in the early 1990s. Not knowing any graphic designers - and being a bit of computer nerd - I rolled up my sleeves and started trying to figure it out for myself. This lead to lots of trial-and-error and endless hours sitting in Borders reading design books.
Full disclosure: I don't consider myself a Graphic Artisté per se. I likely can't render the perfect editorial illustration or art piece, but as a Graphic Designer I can help you realize or uncover a vision and find the pieces to make it a reality.
Those early feats of graphic design are all lost in the sands of time, but here's a sampling of some work from the current century.
